Stretching the Capacities of your Heart!
02-19-17 Stretching the Capacities of your Heart!
In a world where enduring stress and hardships are impacting us moment by moment, we can employ the qualities of the heart to benefit ourselves and others.
The heart has its own intelligence! And many of the answers to our problems in life are contained within the wisdom of the heart, and not just the mind alone. And while we often think of “love” as a quality of the heart, the heart is not just for finding or losing love. It’s not for giving away to someone else or for being broken or harmed by others in thoughtless words or actions. Author M. Scott Peck said, “Love is not effortless. To the contrary, love is effortful.”
Being aware of the science of the heart and practicing aspects of prayer and meditation are powerful solutions for finding practical answers to your daily life issues. You can be more empowered to effectively express your care, your love and compassion through connecting with your heart’s wisdom.
Join us as we explore the science and the connections between the heart, mind and emotions that empowers you to find solutions for yourself and others.
