Hosted by Kelli Melissa Reinhardt, a Warrior for Mental Health and the Founder of Make Mental Health Matter, a mental health and suicide awareness nonprofit. After losing her middle sister to a completed suicide in 2017, she has dedicated her life to save as many lives as possible by normalizing the conversation around mental health and suicide. Mental Health Mondays focus on educating viewers about mental health issues and providing practical tips on how to manage and improve their mental well-being. The show invites guest speakers, such as mental health professionals, and advocates to share their expertise and experiences. Title: Leading with Recovery: Honesty Liller’s Journey of Hope
On this episode of the Make Mental Health Matter Show, Kelli chats with Honesty Liller.
Honesty Liller is a woman in recovery from a substance use disorder since May 27, 2007, and a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist in VA. Honesty is the best-selling author of “Scattered Pink”and is the Chief Executive Officer of The McShin Foundation, a non-profit accredited peer-to-peer Recovery Community Organization (RCO), that serves individuals and families with substance use disorders. Recently, Honesty received a certification as a SHE RECOVERS Professional and is the recipient of the Vernon Johnson Award given by Faces and Voices of Recovery in 2015. Honesty has been featured on “Face The Nation”, FOX News, CNN, and PBS discussing addiction & recovery in America. In 2019 she was honored with the Jean C. Harris Community Service Board Award from Hanover County. WRIC – Channel 8 News had a feature about Honesty for the “Richmond’s Remarkable Women” special in 2020. She has been a field reviewer for SAMHSA, Faces & Voices of Recovery, and CAPRSS. She is a board member of Hanover CARES. McShin has opened their first women and children recovery residence and secured a $2 million grant under Honesty’s leadership. To spend time with her husband, two children, and her two dogs is a gift that keeps giving!

Bio: Kelli Melissa Reinhardt, Founder of Make Mental Health Matter is a Warrior for Mental Health and has dedicated her life to save as many lives as possible by normalizing the conversation around mental health and suicide. After losing her middle sister who died by suicide in 2017, she founded Make Mental Health Matter, a mental health and suicide awareness nonprofit which is on a mission to ACE; increase Awareness, cultivate Conversation, and provide Education.
Kelli is a TEDx Speaker, Keynote Speaker, Mental Health Educator, Author and ICF Certified Mental Wellness Coach. She has a B.A. in Communication, minor in Psychology, NLP Master Practitioner, Trainer and Consultant certifications from Worldwide Institutes of Neuro Linguistic Programming, certified as an Adult, Youth and Teen instructor for Mental Health First Aid. and ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) Trainer.
