African PTSD Relief (APR) is a project of PTSD Relief Now (PRN) that aims to reduce the pandemic of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder throughout Africa. APR uses the scientifically proven and cost-effective method of the Transcendental Meditation program (TM) to significantly reduce PTSD.
TM is shown to be effective in a wide range of settings in Africa and around the world. Successful demonstration projects using this technology to address the complexities of this human trauma show promising reductions in PTSD in as little as 30 days.
APR develops, provides managerial support for, and seeks funding for PTSD relief projects in Africa. Our mission is to reduce PTSD for the millions of Africans who are dealing with the symptoms of PTSD or who are at risk of getting this disorder. www.ptsdreliefnow.org
