He is world-renowned for using livestock to rebuild the land and soil. He applies chemical free farming methods and shows how animal husbandry is one of the answers to a greener, cleaner, healthier world for all.

Many describe him as the most famous farmer in the world, the high priest of the pasture and the most eclectic thinker from Virginia since Thomas Jefferson.
