Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour #307

05-24-18 Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour #307 was taped live at Singing Brook Studio in Worthington, Massachusetts on a warm spring day and features the Gaea Star Band with Mariam Massaro on vocals, native flute, six- and 12-string acoustic guitars and dulcimer, Bob Sherwood on piano and Craig Harris on congas and drums.  Today we begin with the varied, lush improvisation “Ode To The Stars” which features a visionary melody and lyric from Mariam and imaginative, shifting accompaniment from the band.  “Loving Lingeringly” and “Just Slow Right Down” are continuations of the first number, the first featuring beautiful, languid native flute from Mariam and the second is a mystical, 12-string led prayer to mindfulness and the moment featuring dramatic piano from Bob.  We finish today’s show with the dulcimer-based “Roses By My Bedside” and “Spring Is Mighty Fine” in a long, unhurried expression of serenity and gratitude.
