Where Does the Animal Spirit Go After Death?

This week, Dr. Judy is pleased to welcome Dr. Karlene Stange, DVM, an integrated veterinarian, author and educator, joining us from Durango, Colorado. As a child, Dr. Stange wanted to be an “animal doctor” before she knew the word “veterinarian.” She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 1985, studied Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine with Dr. Huisheng Xie and traveled to China in 2000 with him for advanced study. Dr. Stange has been in practice for 33 years, incorporating acupuncture, traditional Chinese herbal medicine, and nutrition into her Rocky Mountain Anima Animas practice. She speaks at veterinary conferences on the spiritual qi of animals and also enjoys sharing what the world’s religious, scientific and spiritual teachings say about the nonphysical aspect of animals at other group meetings. Want to hear more? Tune in and listen as these two like-minded doctors discuss caring for both the physical and non-physical sides of our pets!

Thinking About the Natural Path?

This week, Dr. Judy’s very special guest is Dr. Will Falconer, DVM; a homeopathic veterinarian, author, educator and blogger joining us from Austin, TX. After nearly 40 years in veterinary practice, Dr. Will began to see clearly that the majority of illness in animals (just like in people) is chronic now and it appears to be man-made. Ironically, most illness comes from conventional “prevention” practices: over-vaccinating, feeding lifeless and toxic diets, and poisoning the flea, tick and heartworm with pesticides! Find out how Dr. Will decided to get out in front of all that with natural prevention, taught mostly to pet owners, encouraging them to gain the power of knowledge and step confidently out of the broken paradigm that is conventional medicine. Listen and learn further as Dr. Will talks about his book, Vital Animals Don’t Get Heartworms and the drug-free prevention program that actually works! This is a show you won’t want to miss so tune in to hear Drs. Judy and Will share their perspectives on natural health care and more.

Dr. Morgan grew up in Pitman and Woodstown, NJ, where she graduated high school as valedictorian in 1977. In 1980 she graduated from Rutgers with a Bachelor of Science and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. Dr. Morgan is also a certified and accredited veterinary acupuncturist, chiropractitioner, and food therapist.

Based in southern New Jersey, Dr. Morgan currently operates two veterinary hospitals that offer an integrative approach combining holistic medicine with traditional Western techniques. Holistic practices such as chiropractic, acupuncture, food therapy, and herbal therapy, are utilized alongside conventional medicine to provide a full range of veterinary treatment.

The ability to utilize both kinds of therapies offers her clients many more options than using a single method of healing. In many cases, using this approach also allows earlier identification and treatment of impending problems.

Outside of the office Dr. Morgan spends much of her time working with Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and English Toy Spaniel rescue groups by assisting in finding, transporting, and fostering neglected animals. She is Chief Veterinary Medical Officer for Monkey’s House dog hospice and senior sanctuary. She also enjoys public speaking and giving presentations at local and national continuing education venues.

Do you live out of the area but would love to receive holistic advice about your pet’s health and diet? She can help! See Dr. Morgan’s Phone Consultations or visit the forum to get more detailed information about your pet!
