01-14-19 A Passion for Natural Healing
This week, Dr. Judy welcomes holistic veterinarian and fellow author, Dr. Odette Suter DVM joining us from Island Lake, Illinois. Born in Switzerland, her love for horses – and animals in general – would nurture a passion for healing, leading her to veterinary school there where she graduated in 1994. Early on, Dr. Suter recognized the limitations of conventional medicine and questioned its role in true healing. She researched and pursued holistic and functional medicine, including but not limited to Chinese Medicine, Veterinary Spinal Manipulation and Chiropractic Neurology, Applied Kinesiology, NAET (alternative method for treating allergies and related disorders) and other natural healing methods. Dr. Suter owns the Peak Animal Health Center where she offers intensive training programs, combining holistic treatment and teaching to educate clients on creating longevity for their animals. She authored the international best-selling book What Your Vet Never Told You – Secrets to Supporting Peak Health for Your Animal and created a video training course called Animal Longevity Secrets Revealed.
