Artist Wolfsheart Bio: WOLFSHEART-Three-time Native American Music Award Winner, Recording Artist and Performer, Native American Flute Player and Singer, who is perhaps best known for his multiple award-winning rock band Big City Indians is a well-known artist who honors Native American culture through his music.

His immersion in this musical genre and culture is deep.

He performed at many shows and concerts like the Zion Canyon Flute Festival in US. Since his childhood days he feels closely related to nature and freedom. Growing-up in a surrounding, which accepted his personality, Wolfsheart naturally interiorized the Native way of life. The strong respect for mother earth and her gifts as well as for the dignity of every human being is a basic intrinsic value he believes in.

Thus, it was a great honor for him to receive the Indian name WOLFSHEART from a Kalapuya Native during a special ceremony. The wolf is a creature with a high sense of loyalty and strength.

Wolfsheart´s emotional soft woodwind notes are able to transfer you into a state of total relaxation, while stimulating your soul at the same time. Travel through the boulevard of your dreams and find yourself in an oasis of meditative inner peace. Unique tunes explore the landscapes of the soul, allowing for stimulating moments of relaxation. Atmospheric moods and feelings invite you to a journey of fantasy.

“I play the Native American Flute and do so with great respect for the culture. I think that it is very interesting all so for any European to explore a world which is for ever changing, like the musical sounds that have been created in the past together with the myths and legends.“ ~ Mitakuye Oyasin

CD: The Orpheum Tapes~ Singer and flute-player Wolfsheart, well-known for his native music-dedication, joined forces with guitarist/singer Michael Nix and drummer/handpan-player WolfHang Wehner. Now this acoustic trio is proud to present their debut-album, recorded live during the pandemic, when the whole world was in a state of emergency.

“For this experience, we opened the door to a venue in Vienna called the Orpheum. The band went there for a live recording – but without any audience, because of the Corona pandemic. A precious moment in a challenging time. We entered the stage, gathered in a circle and let the energy flow. With strong and vital emotion, reflecting our very own way of improvisation. It’s such a weird situation right now. So our music is a statement for a better future with positive vibes”, says Wolfsheart. This is exactly what the listener will feel. Different moods from meditation to relaxation, from smooth atmosphere to lively emotions.
