04-26-18 Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour #303 is an alternately stately, nimble and intimate duet between Mariam Massaro and Bob Sherwood of the Gaea Star Band with Mariam on vocals, native flute, acoustic guitar, celtic harp and ukulele and Bob on piano and congas. We begin with Mariam’s instant classic “The River Is Running” and run through Mariam’s older tunes “Gather Together” and “Freedom” before running through improvised pieces “The Path Of Light” and “The Temple Of Sweet Beauty”. “I’m Going To Keep On Sailing” is the second chapter of Mariam’s “Sail On” from the “Vision Quest” album. “Windy Windy” is an unsettled, rocking jam with Mariam on ukulele and “Puffy’s Covered In Baby Rain” and “All The Ancient Ways” close the show with stately, mystical improv.
