This week’s show promises to be both fun and educational as Dr. Morgan welcomes her friend, fellow blogger, author, dog-Mom and raw feeder, Kimberly Morris Gauthier, coming to us from Portland, Oregon. In her book, “A Novice’s Guide to Raw Feeding for Dogs”, Kimberly shares her experience as a raw feeder and how it resolved many health and behavioral issues with her dogs. Her popular blog is all about Dr. Ian Billinghurst’s BARF model of raw feeding, dog supplements and raising littermates, with a goal to share an alternative to commercial dog foods with those who are interested. Her Facebook page and website happily proclaim My Dogs Eat Better Than I Do., which is something many of us can attest to ourselves. In addition to her blog, Kimberly’s website, KeepTheTailWagging.com is a wealth of raw feeding information and recipes, as well as listings of raw food co-ops and discounts available to you. Kimberly’s website also provides in depth information on the challenges of raising littermates and how she avoided littermate syndrome with her two sets of pups.
