07-31-14“Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour #124 is an hour of groovy summer music and improv made just for you on a July day.  With Mariam Massaro on vocals, 6- and 12- string guitars and baritone ukelele, Tom Fair on Nashville guitar and tabla and Bob Sherwood on piano, percussion and vocals, we run through liberally extended versions of  Mariam’s “I Saw You”, “Dancing Boots”, “Riding On The Waves Of Love”, “Starting Over (Summer Day)”.  After the break we present a mystical, mysterious take of “Waves” and a wide-open reverie called “Black River Bay” that melds Mariam’s alternate-tuned 12-string to a beautiful tone poem about nature.  Closing the set on a high note is “In The Light Of The Silver Moon”, a mysterious tale told by Mariam against the backdrop of an eastern midnight.”
