Joining Mariam Massaro, Tom Fair, Amanda Pollock and Bob Sherwood to present several of his songs a day after completing a 10-day meditation retreat, Jont astounds with his mastery of simple words and his achingly human poetry. Jont’s “Taking My Time”, “Here To Stay”, “Teardrops and Pennies” and “Love Gave Me A Sign” are spun into a narrative of his discovery of a daughter he never knew he had and his relocation to Halifax, Nova Scotia to be with her.
