04-24-14  “The Gaea Star Crystal Band #110 we welcome a very special guest; percussionist, author, photographer and educator Craig Harris who has just released his new book, “The Band:  Pioneers Of Americana” with Rowman And Littlefield Publishers.  Craig tells us about his new book and about the role of The Band in popular culture.  Craig then pulls up his congas and joins Mariam Massaro on vocals, guitar and ukelele, Tom Fair on nashville guitar and Bob Sherwood on piano and percussion as they work through songs and improvisations featuring “Waiting For Spring”, “Oh, The Rain”, “Starlight”, “Nurture Every Moment” and “Distant Star”.
