02-27-14 “The Gaea Star Crystal Band #102 – the latest addition to our musical circle Tom Fair (he of the guitar synthesizer and vedic tunings) continues to help us explore the world of modal harmony and Hindustani scales.  A percussion-heavy session finds Mariam on the tambura for much of the hour, Dameron alternating between didjeridoo, banjo and mandolin and Bob tripping over wires as he sprints between the grand piano and the drum rig.  Features Mariam’s “Ganesha” and “Lotus Queen”, “Sail On”, “Hot Tamale Song” and an unusual river song featuring Mariam’s harmonica in a driving, mystical setting.
