Dreamvisions 7 Radio Network needs an experienced Producer for Sunday evenings when they are live at terrestrial station 1510am WMEX Boston. Must be commutable to Quincy Massachusetts.
Radio Producer/Board Operator
Job Responsibilities
-Operate broadcast console/soundboard
-Keep shows on schedule.
-Screen phone calls during a call-in show
-Edit taped interviews and conversations
-Participate in the show as with on-air personality when applicable
Requirements
-Prefer candidates with a degree in radio and television arts, mass communication, or broadcast journalism
-Previous Board Operator experience preferred
-Radio experience strongly preferred
-Needs to be flexible for scheduling and able to work Sunday evenings
-Must be a dependable, reliable, problem-solver who works independently and is technically efficient
-Ability to pay attention to details and be organized
-Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
-Must be proficient with using a computer and the Internet
