06-19-19 Mastery Through Love
This is a very deep and profound talk in which David shows the escape from fear and into love. To introduce the talk here is a quote from A Course in Miracles to set the tone.
“The course does not aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is beyond what can be taught. It does aim, however, at removing the blocks to the awareness of love’s presence, which is your natural inheritance.” In-1.
Mastery through love is the key to taking us right back home to Self Realization. Now it is time to let go of all the ideas we have about love and let the divine love reveal it’s Self to us.
“If you achieve the faintest glimmering of what love means today, you have advanced in distance without measure and in time beyond the count of years to your release. Let us together, then, be glad to give some time to God today, and understand there is no better use for time than this.” W-pI.127.7.
Our only problem is a perceptual problem, viewing the world through the five senses is all part of the ego. The answer to this issue is forgiveness which is the doorway to love. We must forgive the entire cosmos, the belief in persons, interpersonal relationships, in family; in friends this is all ego too. The self-concept is all fear so we need miracles, we need to see with spiritual vision to allow the happy dream to reveal its self to us, we need to focus on guidance from the Spirit whose task is to help us let go of all concepts so love can dawn on the mind.
