11-21-19 Today on Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour #372 the Gaea Star Band presents an our of visionary acoustic improvisational music with Mariam Massaro on vocals, harmonium, acoustic guitar and native flute, Bob Sherwood on piano and Craig Harris on congas and native drums. Recorded at Singing Brook Studio in Worthington, Massachusetts, today’s show begins with the stately, slowly unraveling “Oh Life Here We Go”, a lovely piece of inspiration underpinned by Mariam’s harmonium and dramatic piano from Bob. “Let’s All Feel Love Way Inside” is a lovely windswept autumn ballad celebrating comfort and ease and “Envelop Me In The Darkness” is another languid, gorgeous piece decorated with Mariam’ native flute above a steady conga foundation from Craig. “I Want To Take You Inside My Heart” is a rich and stately expression of love driven by Mariam’s acoustic guitar and “Healed By The Peace” raises the tempo but retains the reverence of the prior peace with an energized, full arrangement led by Mariam’s impassioned lyric. Today’s deep, relaxed, elegiac hour of music closes appropriately with the prayerlike “Homeward Bound” which features memories and lovely visionary poetry from Mariam.
