07-16-15   Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour #173 at Singing Brook Studio in Worthington MA and features Mariam Massaro on vocals, guitars, celtic harp, native flute and ukelele, Sondra Lewis on vocals and percussion, Robert Sherwood on piano, Dameron Midgett on banjo and mandolin and Craig Harris on congas and marimba.  This mystical, drifting collections of songs and improvisations begins with the unusual and mantra-like “Yanawedowayo Parts One and Two”, a lovely and deep first movement distinguished by Mariam’s captivating vocals and native flute, Craig’s frankly cool marimba work and Bob’s minimalist explorations and variations on a two-note ostinato.  Minor is steadily, patiently pointed to major as Sondra adds percussive highlights and Mariam moves to the harp for the final pianissimo movement featuring introductions of the players.
