Jessie has appeared on numerous television shows, including Oprah, The Today Show, Fox News, CNBC, and many more. She’s been the keynote speaker at over 3000 events around the world. With very humble beginnings, living with no running water or electricity in Wisconsin to an Orphanage in Mexico, she has an unbelievable rags-to-riches story.
Of all her accomplishments, her greatest achievement has been, by far, her family. She and her husband’s “patchwork” family live a down-to-earth, simplistic, Christian lifestyle. They homeschool their children at their lake house and spend their days enjoying their kids and building character through teaching good old-fashioned values.
Recently, with the birth of her twins, Jessie has started the Born Abel foundation, focusing on books with children with disabilities. All the books feature her son Abel, born with trisomy 18.
Amanda Gust
Amanda’s personal experiences shaped her passion for helping mothers and babies in need. She is co-founder of Born Abel and hosts their weekly podcast highlighting parents and caregivers of children with disabilities.
