Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour is an hour of visionary acoustic musical improvisation featuring Mariam Massaro and Bob Sherwood of the Gaea Star Band. Recorded live at Singing Brook Studio in Worthington, Massachusetts, today’s show begins with the lush, meditative “Salayo”, a song to the Spring Equinox. “I Am The One” is driven by Mariam’s energized ukulele and driving piano from Bob and “Feels So Good To Be At Peace” is a beautiful, mystical piece featuring gorgeous vocals and native flute from Mariam above a shifting series of piano motifs from Bob. “Let’s Release All That Remains” is powered by Mariam’s chiming acoustic guitar and virtuoso piano from Bob. Mariam strums her dulcimer for the driving Appalachian flavored gospel of “Rock Our Voices”, and today we culminate the show with two gorgeous songs from
Mariam’s “Songs For The Children” album, the driving, foundational “Smile” and the beautiful and bittersweet “Happy I Am”.
