12-02-20 You are an Eternal Being
In A Course in Miracles Jesus tells us the Word of God means, I am as God created me. That’s humbling accepting yourself as a spirit, not as flesh. That’s humbling accepting yourself as an eternal being, not as some make-believe invention of a shadow figure that’s here for a few years and then gone. Jesus is saying, Oh I choose the second place. And the reason he puts that in his workbook because he’s getting it from his own direct experience of God, he realized he could be happy if he was a creation of God and not some make-believe figment of the imagination of the ego. And so that’s how he came into the I Am Presence. Before Abraham was I am, I am what I am as God created me. That is the truth of it all. And that is so humble. That’s why Even when people would come to Jesus and start praising him and giving him compliments. Like you heal people and he would respond why do you call me good? He was pointing to number one. He was always giving God all the glory.
