Little bit about Niki’s story from her:
“I am passionate about helping women using a whole person approach to recovery with trauma and mental health. I am a person who lives with CPTSD and has 23 yrs of sobriety from substance misuse. I am a certified trauma and resilience life coach, clinical addiction and trauma specialist as well as a registered nurse. I help women on their healing journey by teaching them how to self regulate using body based self regulation techniques, along the journey we build capacity and resiliency leading to a larger window of tolerance.”
Short bio: Nicole “Niki” is a registered nurse who is passionate about supporting women along their personal growth and recovery journey. With 23 yrs of sobriety and living with CPTSD, Niki has found Unbound Courage a non profit dedicated to holistic whole person recovery. She uses body based self regulation techniques with a salutogenic peer support model to assist those seeking post traumatic growth and recovery support. Niki believes with a regulated nervous system you set up the success for recovery.
