11-06-19 Living from the Heart of Love
Trust plays a massive part in the awakening journey, we must put our faith in something much greater to lead the way out of the dream. We need to let go of all past learning and come with an empty mind that will allow us to be guided by the inner voice that knows the way back home. There is a passage in A Course in Miracles called The Promise that will shine some light on what the journey will look like if we choose to follow
“You may wonder how you can be at peace when, while you are in time, there is so much that must be done before the way to peace is open. Perhaps this seems impossible to you. But ask yourself if it is possible that God would have a plan for your salvation that does not work. Once you accept His plan as the one function that you would fulfill, there will be nothing else the Holy Spirit will not arrange for you without your effort. He will go before you making straight your path, and leaving in your way no stones to trip on, and no obstacles to bar your way. Nothing you need will be denied you. Not one seeming difficulty but will melt away before you reach it. You need take thought for nothing, careless of everything except the only purpose that you would fulfill. As that was given you, so will its fulfillment be. God’s guarantee will hold against all obstacles, for it rests on certainty and not contingency. It rests on you. And what can be more certain than a Son of God?” A Course in Miracles T-20.IV.8.
“Only the Love of God will protect you in all circumstances. It will lift you out of every trial, and raise you high above all the perceived dangers of this world into a climate of perfect peace and safety. It will transport you into a state of mind that nothing can threaten, nothing can disturb, and where nothing can intrude upon the eternal calm of the Son of God. “A Course in Miracles W-pI.50.3.
