Kelly M. Larsen has dedicated her life to helping people find inner wisdom, balance, prosperity, healing, and spiritual growth in all areas of their life. Kelly’s mission is to help people evolve into their highest potential within all aspects of their life through conscious integration of their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual forms.
As a Registered Nurse, Certified Massage Therapist, and Reiki Master, Kelly Larsen has studied the human form, health and wellbeing, and personal development from diverse perspectives. She earned her nursing degree from Mesa Community College in Mesa, Arizona. Later she studied Usui Reiki under Rosemary Sicliano, and Tenchi Shiki Mikkyo and Karuna Reiki under the instruction of Laoxie Christopher Lee Matsuo . Kelly’s massage certification was earned through the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, Arizona where she also studied many other forms of alternative therapies. Kelly later went on to teach classes at SWIHA. A pioneer in the integration of alternative therapies with allopathic medicine Kelly Larsen began the first Reiki volunteer program at Chandler Regional Hospital’s cancer center and was a consultant on many other Reiki volunteer programs in Arizona. Kelly Larsen has taught numerous topics nationally – privately, for colleges, and for professional organizations – and provided healing therapies under her business Balanced Therapies For Health for many years. Kelly has also explored many forms of religion, spirituality, and New Age philosophies.
Trying to better understand the innate power and potential in every human being she began to train in the martial arts as a way to study the integration of the physical and spiritual forms, as well as the internal and external power of chi, will and the mind. Here she excelled gaining her first black belt in Kenpo Karate under Jung Si George Lim and Senior Professor Patrice Lim . She continued her marital arts training and expanded into Tai Chi Chuan under Shi-Zu Allen A. Abad eventually earning her third degree black belt and Sifu Master Instructor certification from him. In 2001 Kelly began studying spiritual development under Dr. Mitchell E. Gibson. Under his guidance she began studying the process of enlightenment, as well as aspects of the soul, mind, and human consciousness. In 2013 Dr. Gibson retired from teaching his spiritual development program called the Living Soul Course. At that time Kelly Larsen became his first Advanced Instructor for that program. http://www.kellylarsen.net/
