While her parents weren’t really abusive, they were so lacking in love and emotional support that in childhood Laura developed debilitating symptoms. Eventually she was diagnosed with a crippling terminal illness. Her decision at fifty to heal herself led her on an extraordinary voyage toward her own miraculous healing, and to the healing of all her troubled relationships.
