Dreams are an amazing source of inner guidance and filled with answers for our waking-world challenges like health issues. But, What good are dreams for guidance if we cannot remember them? And, why are dreams important to our waking world? Three panelists who are dream researchers, doctors and a three-time cancer survivor, whose dreams saved her life, will present at the world-renowned International Association for the Study of Dreams 2022, and answer these questions. They share their wisdom, insights and steps with you on how to remember and journal your dreams tonight for a better tomorrow. Join Dr. Kimbrerly Mascaro, Dr. Bhaska Banerji and host Kat Kanavos as they share true stories and keys to remembering and journaling your dreams.
Bios:
Dr. Kimberly Mascaro- For the past 20 years, Kimberly R. Mascaro, PhD, LMFT has worked in the fields of mental/behavioral health, and education. She holds a license to practice psychotherapy in the state of California, and is certified in hypnotherapy.
She earned a PhD in clinical psychology in 2013 from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, a MS in counseling psychology in 2003 from Dominican University, and a BA in fine art from California State University, Sacramento in 1996. Dr. Mascaro’s most recent publication is Extraordinary Dreams: Visions, Announcements and Premonitions Across Time and Place (2018); published by McFarland. She is a member of the International Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD) where she will chair a “Health and Healing Dreams” Dream Panel with panel co-presenters Dr. Bhaskar Banerji and Kat Kanavos. Dr. Bhaska Banerji-Bhaskar started his extensive journey as a healer many years ago at the University of Michigan where he was first introduced to Polarity Therapy, a form of energy healing in Professor Max Heirich’s Western/Non-Western Medicine class. He furthered his skills as an Energy Healer under the tutelage of master teacher Linda Goodhands. Later he studied Shiatsu and Swedish massage at the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, CA. In 1998 he visited Thailand and discovered the extraordinary benefits of Thai Massage, an ancient form of healing drawing from both Indian Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He initially took classes with the Sunshine Network based in Chiang Mai, Thailand and eventually studied under the tutelage of Pischet Boonthume, one of Thailand’s master teachers. In 2007 he completed his Masters in Holistic Health Education from JFK University with an emphasis on Dream Studies and obtained a PhD in Mind Body Medicine at Saybrook University.
