10-14-24 Healing for Changemakers
Guest Michelle Vande Hey
On this episode of Make Mental Health Matter, Kelli chats with Michelle Vande Hey.
She is a certified holistic life coach and trauma center trauma-sensitive yoga facilitator with a business degree. Her mission is to create a more inclusive, peaceful, and prosperous world for all by helping the changemakers in the world to advocate for themselves as much as they advocate for the folks they support. Her lived experience has shaped who she is today. At 16, she found out she was an intersex person. She has two children who were adopted and her son died as an infant. Triumph through trauma has been a cornerstone of her life.
After working with several mission-driven organizations she found that so many are run by the most passionate people that are exhausted and burning themselves out for their mission. This affects their personal lives and the success of their organization. She is here to put an end to that! You deserve to feel peace, freedom, and joy in all areas of your life without the guilt.
Michelle founded Light of Love Coaching in February 2020 and is a Trauma Sensitive Certified Holistic Life Coach. She empowers mission-driven leaders and teams to overcome the culture of overgiving and self-sacrifice so they don’t lose themselves in their mission. Michelle guides leaders & teams to overcome compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, and burnout. Through holistic coaching, trauma sensitive yoga, and breathwork clients connect more deeply to themselves, their mission and their community which creates long-lasting sustainable impact.
When she’s not coaching, speaking or facilitating workshops you can find Michelle dancing in her kitchen, biking to pilates, getting lost in the woods, or running with the sunrise.
