07-28-22 Today on Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour #498 Part Two we present an hour of visionary acoustic improv music featuring the Gaea Star Band with Mariam Massaro on vocals, Native flute, Celtic harp, acoustic guitar, sitar and ukulele, Bob Sherwood on piano and Craig Harris on Native drums and congas. Recorded live at Singing Brook Studio in Worthington, Massachusetts in June of 2022, today’s show begins with the driving, jazzy “Evolve” featuring a powerful vocals and drifting Celtic harp from Mariam. “Song From The Forest” is a beautiful summer folk song with shifting flowing piano and gorgeous flute fanfares from Mariam and “Believe” is an unhurried minor key folk song driven by powerful percussion from Craig and a fine vocal from Mariam. “Surrender” is a gorgeous, powerful prayer featuring a powerful vocal and chiming acoustic guitar from Mariam and we conclude today’s show with Mariam moving to sitar for the lovely raga “Unite”.
