02-25-16  Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour #203 features special guest Tom Fair on sitar and acoustic guitar along with Mariam Massaro, Craig Harris and Bob Sherwood of the Gaea Star Band.  Today’s first piece is Mariam’s mystical, haunting “Eternal Treasure” which features Tom’s hypnotic sitar as well as some fine native flute work from Mariam.  “Revolution” is a chiming, triumphant ode to unity among all people that spans several movements, returning to Bob’s defining piano motif at regular intervals.  Entrancing sitar and native flute again claim center-stage, driving this epic forward.  “Feeling Good” brings in a meditative and soulful atmosphere, setting to music a transformative lyric from Mariam and compelling sitar runs from Tom.  “Our Time Has Come” is another inspiring song from Mariam featuring her acoustic 12-string guitar and precise and supportive rhythm work from Tom Fair on acoustic 6-string.  Today’s final song, “Seven Waterfalls”, is a multi-movement piece underpinned by Mariam’s bluesy harmonica and jazzy, spacious piano from Bob.
