In this week’s show, Lora interviews Roni Antonio, yoga teacher, personal trainer, energy healer and creator of “Yoga for Strength and Empowerment for Women over 40.” Lora and Roni discuss the physical connection between physical strength and mental empowerment, the interplay of our past programming with our current desires, and how we as women can nurture and support each other to become the best selves we can be.

Being an empowered woman means:

  • Strengthening the core for inward centering, focusing the mind. A strong core can hold you upright and protect the spine.
  • Creating strength in the joints for stability. Yoga can take the place of high impact sports or it can protect your joints when you take part in them.
  • Aligning posture to increase confidence and to radiate positive energy.
  • Strengthening the muscles to carry you forward in life.
  • De-aging the body and mind. Yoga can create hormonal balance.
  • Learning breath work for peace of mind.
  • Learning how to listen to what your body is telling you to prevent injury and disease.
  • Bringing balance to Body, Mind and Soul
  • Learning how to ground and visualize in order to become a conscious creator, and
  • Learning how to flow and move in a meditative way.
