As a warm-up to this year’s Mystical Christ Academy, David invites people in using the movie Premonition to emphasize that the ego creates a fictitious world of time and space, distracting us from our true identity as the Christ, the perfect Son of God. He conveys that concepts like birth, death, and emotional turmoil are illusions that do not reflect reality. David refers to lessons from A Course in Miracles, particularly the idea that nothing real can be threatened and nothing unreal exists. In the movie session, participants are encouraged to recognize that the events in the movie unfolding are merely projections of a mind lost in illusion. David focuses on the notion that true peace comes from realizing the eternal nature of existence, beyond the drama of the physical world.
