Coconut Oil is not the Same From One Brand to the Next

Join Dr. Judy Morgan this week as she interview twin sisters, Charisa Antigua and Carmina O’Connor, founders of CocoTherapy. These sisters have been around coconuts their entire lives. Their family has been growing coconuts and making coconut oil for three generations in their family farm in the Philippines. After watching their grandma make coconut oil in her small kitchen, they knew that making the purest, tastiest, most nutritious oil was a labor of love. Their love of pets and desire to help others keep their pets healthy led them to start their own company. CocoTherapy Organic Virgin Coconut Oil is USDA-certified organic, as well as NON-GMO Verified and is the only therapeutic-grade coconut oil in the market today. Find out how the processing of the oil affects the therapeutic benefits in this week’s broadcast. You’ll be an expert in no time!

Tonya has been a professional in the pet community since 1998 and in the blogging world for over ten years. She has been a positive dog-training specialist for two decades. Tonya has written a number of books and freelances for several dog-themed blogs and magazines. She travels the US presenting dog and cat behavior workshops at pet expos and events. Dr. Morgan grew up in Pitman and Woodstown, NJ, where she graduated high school as valedictorian in 1977. In 1980 she graduated from Rutgers with a Bachelor of Science and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. Dr. Morgan is also a certified and accredited veterinary acupuncturist, chiropractitioner, and food therapist.

Based in southern New Jersey, Dr. Morgan currently operates two veterinary hospitals that offer an integrative approach combining holistic medicine with traditional Western techniques. Holistic practices such as chiropractic, acupuncture, food therapy, and herbal therapy, are utilized alongside conventional medicine to provide a full range of veterinary treatment.

The ability to utilize both kinds of therapies offers her clients many more options than using a single method of healing. In many cases, using this approach also allows earlier identification and treatment of impending problems.

Outside of the office Dr. Morgan spends much of her time working with Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and English Toy Spaniel rescue groups by assisting in finding, transporting, and fostering neglected animals. She is Chief Veterinary Medical Officer for Monkey’s House dog hospice and senior sanctuary. She also enjoys public speaking and giving presentations at local and national continuing education venues.

Do you live out of the area but would love to receive holistic advice about your pet’s health and diet? She can help! See Dr. Morgan’s Phone Consultations or visit the forum to get more detailed information about your pet!
