Rethinking Learning: Creating a Community Where Children Thrive with Tammy Garceau LICSW and students
Children participating are: Brysen, Aria K., and Leahy
Our program values the power of kindness and a sense of belonging as the foundation for being ready to learn. We care about how children experience learning, how they see themselves as learners, how they connect with others, how they discover that their own interests, ideas, and strengths have value.
We provide project based, nature inspired, and wellness enhanced program as a way of meeting the wellness needs of each member of our community. My work as a school social worker, therapist, and mom contributed to my vision for the program.
