Julie Wignall is with us for the first time. Her rather unconventional career has spanned politics, business, the arts, and even environmental conservation. She first gained international recognition for her work with Mirage Resorts, International, where she partnered with the Chairman and CEO to revolutionize animal welfare, launch some award-winning education programs, and drive what became impactful environmental initiatives. But Julie believes in the power that individuals can have to create major meaningful change. So she coined the term Fireflies to describe these people who are able to break barriers and illuminate new possibilities. And her multi-award-winning book is called The Extraordinary Power of Fireflies. It shares inspiring stories about people who have dared to reach out, break barriers, and try to make a genuine difference. Some of her stories really are great!
